Idk how some people can stand being the 3rd party. Personally, I’d never ever ever ever want to ruin any relationship even if it means I have to hold my feelings back for a while and wait for the right time or a different person. I guess it also goes to show how much respect you have for yourself and other people. If you’re willing to settle for second best, and feel fine hurting other people by choice then well I guess I do not know what else to say.
